The Arrival

At 5.00 am we arrived in Manila. It was 4 hours or so sitting in the plane, my poor tired feet. We were welcoming by the immigration section, the lady was asking about where do we go, where we gonna stay, when will we leave, documents this and that. After the lady give the permission, we’re going to transfer to Cebu and them Bacolod.

Our next flight to Cebu is at 3:20 pm, that’s mean we still have 9 hours to wait in NAIA Airports. We slept, we eat, we slept again, prayer, until our time to fly.

Arrived in Cebu at 4.30 pm, we need to transfer again until our destination at 6.20 pm. But actually, we were boarding at 6.40 pm.

Finally we arrived in Bacolod!! Gladly we were welcoming by our teachers from receiving uni, Miss Sheila, Doc Ana, and Sir Jayce. It was a warm welcoming and they gave us a Bacolod necklace. All the way to go from airport to the city, Doc Ana was telling us the story of the necklace. She told us that Bacolod is a city of smile, because there are so many sugar cane here.

At 9.00 pm, they asked me to join the dinner in a cozy café in the town. We told them that we cannot eat pork and alcohol or beer, so they gave me beef, shrimp, and fish for dinner. Kind of them.

29 days in Bacolod, we are going to stay in campus dorm. There are bathroom, three bed, fridge, air condition, table and chair. Thank you for welcoming us well and give us a nice and cozy place to stay. Tomorrow will be fun!
